    Bookkeeper
    Diane has been working as the bookkeeper at Avon Veterinary Clinic since 1998! She loves animals (except for snakes!) and has had some unique pets in her home over the years, including a leopard gecko and an African dwarf frog. Currently, Diane is a fur mom to two cats (Bud and Wonkie) and a dog (Ollie). In her free time, Dine enjoys camping, reading and spending time with loved ones.

    Veterinary Technician/Kennel Manager
    Kim has been working for the Avon Veterinary Clinic for over 25 years. She started in the kennel and has been a technician for over 20 plus years now. Kim also works as the kennel supervisor and oversees the care of the boarding patients and making sure the clinic is well stocked with our prescription diets. Kim has known all of her life that she is meant to work with animals. Growing up on a farm she was exposed to a variety of animals and situations. Her hobbies include spending time with and training her German Shepherd Juno, traveling and spending time at the beach and hiking.

    Julie has been working in the animal field since 2004. When she moved to CT in 2009 she started working as a kennel attendant in Simsbury where she eventually graduated to being a receptionist. Julie began her journey with the Avon Veterinary Clinic in 2012 where she is a dedicated veterinary technician. In her free time Julie loves being a mom to her two children; Violet and Luke, and three pets; Winter, O'Malley and new puppy Jarvis. In her free time you'll find her on the softball field or rooting for her favorite sports teams. GO RED SOX! GO PATRIOTS!

    Veterinary Technician
    Ava has always had a passion for working with animals. She has been an equestrian from a young age, and has worked at horse stables and a dog daycare/kennel. Ava started working at Avon Veterinary Clinic in 2022 as a kennel attendant and was promoted to work as a technician in 2023. Ava is currently attending Holyoke Community College and enrolled in the veterinary technician program working towards being certified. Her hobbies included hiking with her dog, traveling and riding her horse.

    Veterinary Technician
    Sam was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona and moved to Connecticut in 2023. She's been in the animal field since 2021, first working in boarding and grooming where she gained a lot of knowledge about animal behavior. This inspired her to begin her journey in veterinary medicine. She has been working as a veterinary technician at the Avon Veterinary Clinic since 2023. In her role here she has not only expanded her knowledge and love for the industry, but has also been inspired to begin the process of getting her certification. Sam loves all kinds of furry creature but has three sassy felines of her own : Princess, Pepper and Baby. When she isn't caring for her fur babies she enjoys being the "fun aunt" to other fur babies as a pet sitter. In her free time you can find Sam snuggled on the couch with her cat and a good book. She also enjoys baking, traveling back home to visit her family and is currently learning how to crochet.

    Veterinary Technician
    Emily entered the veterinary field as an assistant in 2018 and now works as a technician. Emily has always loved helping and caring for animals, she has experience with reptiles, amphibians and exotics, plus both large and small animals! Emily is also a certified phlebotomist, licensed nail technician and a mother. Emily is currently enrolled in the veterinary technician program through Penn Foster, working on getting her certification. In Emily's free time she loves cooking and spending time with friends and family.

    Veterinary Technician
    Maddy began her role in veterinary medicine in 2022. She started out as a vet assistant and quickly adjusted to becoming a technician in the beginning of 2024 at the Avon Veterinary Clinic. Her favorite part of working in the veterinary field are the rewarding moments when a sick patient goes home healthier and happier. She loves this field because she is constantly learning every day while also meeting all the fur babies that make the job so worthwhile. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with friends, weightlifting, working her other job as a server/bartender, reading, and watching all of the popular TV series.
